Brunswick Home

Brunswick Home is a transitional living space that can accommodate up to 4 people who have gone though our continuum of care at either St John House or Grace House. The residents who go into Brunswick Home will be hand-picked by our staff and will be residents who are stable enough to transition into the next phase of their independence. In Brunswick Home, four residents will get the shared experiences of having their own room, common areas that they can share with each other, and most of all a space that they can call their own and get to take care of. They will be charged a small service fee every month which will teach the importance of personal budgeting whilst also allowing them to save money for their future home and set career and financial goals for themselves while also living in a much more independent environment. Of course, they will still have access to all the resources that the shelters offer including its staff. Each resident who lives in Brunswick Home will be able to live there for up to one year, unless they find other housing or can transition out faster. In that time, they will learn the true independence of living on their own and restore their self-determination and confidence in their own skills and abilities.
